Email Signature Generator
Branded signature with your new domain.
How it works
Generate a clean email signature for your domain
Fill in your name, role, company, phone and website and get two ready-to-paste signatures: a plain-text version that survives every mail client, and a compact HTML version with clickable phone and website links. No images, no tracking pixels, no table soup, so it renders the same in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and on phones. We also verify that your website domain resolves so you are not sending out a dead link.
Results appear here after you click Generate signature.
How this works
- 1
Normalise your details
Phone numbers become tap-to-call links with a country code; the website gets https:// and a clean display name.
- 2
Verify the links
Live DNS lookups confirm the website resolves and the email domain publishes MX records.
- 3
Render two formats
A plain-text block for every client and a single-table HTML block with inline styles and your accent colour.
Frequently asked questions
- What should a professional email signature include?
- Name, role, company, one phone number and your website: four or five lines at most. Leave out inspirational quotes, long legal disclaimers and more than one social link; the signature should help someone contact you, not read a brochure.
- Should I put an image or logo in my email signature?
- Usually not. Images are blocked by default in many clients, show as attachments in Outlook and get flagged by spam filters when hosted externally. A coloured name and a clear website link do the branding without the downsides.
- Why does my HTML signature break when I paste it into Gmail?
- Gmail's signature box accepts rich text, not raw HTML. Open the HTML in a browser (save it as a .html file and double-click it), select everything, copy, then paste into Gmail so the rendered formatting is carried across.
- How do I make the phone number clickable on mobile?
- Use a tel: link with the number in international format, for example tel:+2348012345678. Our HTML version does this automatically, converting Nigerian 0801 numbers to +234 801.
- Can I use this signature with a free Gmail or Yahoo address?
- You can, but a company signature over a gmail.com address undercuts the brand and looks less trustworthy. Register your domain, create name@yourdomain.com (two mailboxes are included with MailShrine domains) and use that address in the signature.
Every MailShrine domain includes WHOIS privacy, transfer lock, Anycast DNS with DNSSEC and two business mailboxes.
