Domain Price Comparison (Live)
Our live prices next to Namecheap, GoDaddy, Porkbun and more.
How it works
MailShrine's live domain price next to the big registrars
Registrars advertise the first year and hide the renewal. This comparison puts MailShrine's live first-year, renewal and transfer price for your extension next to the public list prices of Namecheap, GoDaddy, Squarespace, Porkbun and Cloudflare for a .com, then totals three years so the cheap-first-year trick is visible. Competitor figures are public list prices checked in October 2026 and will drift; ours are read live from the checkout API every time you run it.

Frequently asked questions
- Which registrar is cheapest for a .com?
- Over one year a few registrars undercut each other by a dollar or two. Over three years the picture flips, because renewal prices range from about $10 to $22. Always compare the multi-year total, which this tool does.
- Why do domain prices differ between registrars?
- Every registrar pays the same wholesale price to the registry (about $10.26 for .com in 2026) and adds its own margin, bundles and promotions. Low first-year prices are marketing; high renewals pay for them.
- Are the competitor prices here accurate?
- They are public list prices checked in October 2026, rounded, before coupons. Registrars change prices often, so treat them as a guide and verify on the registrar's site. MailShrine's own prices are live.
- Does MailShrine charge extra for WHOIS privacy or DNS?
- No. Privacy is included wherever the registry allows it, DNS hosting is included, and a free business email plan is available on every domain. The price you see is the price you pay.
- Is it worth transferring to a cheaper registrar?
- Usually, if the renewal is lower. A transfer costs about one year's registration and adds that year to your expiry, so you are effectively renewing at the new price. Wait out the 60-day lock after any registration or owner change.
Every MailShrine domain includes WHOIS privacy, transfer lock, Anycast DNS with DNSSEC and two business mailboxes.
