Bulk Domain Availability Checker

Paste up to 100 names and see which are free.

How it works

Check up to 100 domain names at once

Paste a list of names, one per line, with or without an extension. We first ask the public DNS root for every name in parallel: a name with nameservers is registered, a name that returns NXDOMAIN is almost certainly free. Then we confirm the most promising free names against the registry through our own search API and show the real first-year and renewal price for each. Bare names get the extension you pick; mixed lists are fine.

How this works

  1. 1

    Parse your list

Each line becomes a domain; bare words get the default extension, duplicates and invalid names are dropped.

  2. 2

    Screen with DNS

All names are queried in parallel over DNS-over-HTTPS; NXDOMAIN at the root means no one has registered the name.

  3. 3

    Confirm with the registry

Up to eight free names are confirmed through our live search API, which returns the exact first-year and renewal price.

Frequently asked questions

How many domains can I check at once?
Paste up to 100 names. All of them get the DNS screen instantly; up to eight of the free ones are then confirmed with the registry per run. For bigger lists, run the confirmed-free names in a second batch, or sign in and buy them in one cart.
Is the DNS screen the same as an availability check?
Not quite. A registered domain nearly always has nameservers, so DNS tells you quickly which names are taken. A name with no DNS delegation is almost always free, but a tiny number are registered without nameservers or reserved by the registry, which is why we confirm with the registry before you buy.
Can I mix extensions in one list?
Yes. Write full names like shop.co.uk or brand.io and they are checked as written. Lines without a dot use the default extension you pick in the dropdown.
Why do some names say 'Not sold here'?
The DNS screen works for any extension, but we can only price and register the 150+ extensions MailShrine sells. If a name uses another extension you will still see whether it is taken, just not a price.
Does it cost anything to use the bulk checker?
No. It is free, needs no account, and we never register names you check. Confirmed-available names show MailShrine's real price: .com is about $12.99 for the first year and renews at the same rate.

Every MailShrine domain includes WHOIS privacy, transfer lock, Anycast DNS with DNSSEC and two business mailboxes.
